Mothers Day Card with Hero Arts Color Layering Fuscia

The current challenge over at A Blog Named Hero is to put a flower on it, and that's what I did!

I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Fuscia stamp set along with the Happy Stamp and Cut and an
older Chevron Background stamp. I wanted to attempt to recreate a true to color fuscia, at the one I always choose.

If you're interested in the exact ink combo I used. I started with Frosty Pink from Altenew for the base, Followed by Razzle Berry from My Favorite Things for the pink top, and Grape from My Favorite Things for the purple. I finished with Grape Jelly from Memento for the veins.

To put it all together, I masked off the edges of my card with post-it tape before stamping the background stamp in Unicorn pigment ink from Hero Arts. While that dried I cut the Happy die 3x from neenah solar white 80lb cardstock and glued those stacked, for more dimension. I stamped "mothers day" onto some yellow Bazzill cardstock and trimmed into a little flag.
