Paige Evans Scrapbooking Masterclass Homework | Part Two

Hi Everyone! How's it goin'? Today I have another layout I made for my Paige Evans Scrapbooking Masterclass homework from Big Picture Classes. This class was about backing cut files, something I'd seen plenty, but had never tried (and no idea how to) until now.

My main paper is from the Echo Park our family kit, and the backing paper is from an older / discontinued jillibean soup 6x6 pad. 6x6 papers definitely work better for backing cut files because of their smaller patterns. I always though they were just 6x6 sheets of the same thing on a 12x12 page, but the patterns are actually shrunken.

For my title and embellishments I used some glittery thickers and just a few do-dads from different leftover embellishment kits I had. I kept the embellishing very simple on this one.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll join me on my crafty journey, find more crafty fun on my Instagram and Facebook Page

  1. What a clever way to scrapbook all those people. I really like how you've written all their names. The cut-file, backed with all those pretty papers, is quite eye catching. Really fun. TFS.

  2. Hi Kristina, what a pretty page - I love the pastel patterns set against the woodgrain and that layout is such a cool way to include lots of pictures. Thanks for playing with us at CSI :o)

  3. Simply embellished, but striking! Love the colourful cut file against the wood background. I like how some of the flowers have all the patterns, but others are all one "solid" pattern. Thanks for joining us over at CSI!
